Software & Hardware Setup in Logic Pro

Overview:
Before you can start recording and playing back audio in Logic, you need to set up your audio Input and Output devices.

Exercise:

• To configure input & output devices, go to the Logic Pro Menu/Preferences/Audio and select the “Devices” tab
• The most important settings to look at for now are the Input and Output Device settings.
• Choose the appropriate options for your system, then close the Audio Preferences window.
• Switch on the metronome in the Transport bar at the bottom of the Arrange Window and hit play – you should be able to hear the click track.
