Secret Sound is an alternative music training centre offering Ableton Live courses, Logic Pro courses and DJ classes in Dublin city centre. We provide affordable music education for aspiring DJs, producers, musicians and composers who are dedicated to learning in a fresh, modern and easy going environment. Based on the Grand Canal in one of Dublin’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, our music courses are taught by respected industry professionals, with low teacher : student ratios and a maximum of 4 students per class. What’s more, our courses are extremely competitively priced, with a 10% student discount and grants available for unemployed applicants.

Our music production and DJ courses take place in our purpose fitted facility on the Canal Road, Dublin 8. We boast a fully equipped audio production and education suite decked out with KRK studio monitors, and hardware by Pioneer, Novation, Akai, Moog, Roland and M-Audio.

Our students receive 10 hours classroom tutoring as standard, with extra time before every class dedicated to helping students one-to-one with specific questions and issues. On top of this, students of our Ableton courses, Logic Pro courses and DJ classes also receive free access to our unique Online Student Area, including:

• Access to our Online Video Tutorial series: Each week’s video tutorials reflect the material we cover in class, so even if you didn’t quite catch something the first time around, our tutorial videos ensure you’ll never miss a beat.
• Support outside of class hours: Students can schedule face-to-face online support with their tutor via Skype Screen Sharing. Screen sharing not only allows you to show the tutor exactly what you’re talking about, it allows us to demonstrate what needs to be done in real time.
• Access to our Loop Library containing hundreds of free loops, samples and one shots for you to use in your productions.
• Access to our online Q&A wall: Any questions? Post them on our Q&A Wall and have them answered by our practicing professionals. Every answer stays up on the wall, so our database grows with every question you ask.
• Valuable and transferable audio production skills with our weekly Mixing Techniques modules.
• Weekly downloads including class notes, resources, FX banks and sample packs

Our Ableton classes, Logic Pro classes and DJ courses are held in our facility at 5 Canal Road, opposite The Barge pub on the Grand Canal, Dublin.
